I was never one of those little girls that dreamt of my wedding day.  I didn’t have a dream dress, or a dream venue.  I didn’t ever imagine what my centerpieces would look like, or what song I would use for my mother-daughter dance.  The one thing I always knew was that I wanted to get married on a beach.

 

Fast forward to October 11, 2017, and there I was, getting married, on one of the most beautiful beaches I had ever seen.  I guess you can say we eloped.  It was just my husband, myself, the lady marrying us, and the photographer. No one knew the wedding was happening except our family, and very close friends.  We used a company called Wedding in Seychelles.  They handled EVERYTHING for us.  Our package included airport pick-up, and drop-off, hotel stay, wedding ceremony, all the paperwork we needed for our marriage to be valid in the UAE (where we live), cake, photography, hair, and make-up.  Perfect for a low-maintenance bride (me).
